The SB-1176 Program is a 6-week program aimed towards the education of those
individuals subjected to court discipline for alcohol related violations of the California
Vehicle Code 23103/23103.5/23140 , to reduce recidivism and to demonstrate the benefit of
a life of sobriety.

The Participants needs to do the following steps to enroll, participate and complete the

Enrollment.—Participant need to call this office number 818-716-0188 to schedule an
appointment for enrollment, the enrollment takes one hour. During the enrollment the
participant will be given a schedule to attend all program  activities. Participant needs to
bring the paper work from court or other referring agency indicating he/she needs to attend
the program. Arrangements for payment of program fee will be done at this time.

NOTE, You must enroll within 21 days from your last day in court. (If participants do NOT
enroll WITHIN 21 days, they must then return to court, and ask for an extension)

Program Participation—Participant needs to complete the three components described

Completion—Upon completion of all two Program components the Participant will be given
all the necessary documentation to present to court and/or other referring agency as proof of
Program completion.  

There are three components needed to complete the program:

1. Education Component.
Six weekly sessions of two hours each.
These classes are available as follows:
Monday,      8:15 pm to 10:15 pm, English
Thursday,    6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, English
Friday,        8:00 pm to 10:00 pm, Spanish

2. Program Fee.
The fee for the program is $ 250.00. Participants have the option to pay the full amount
during intake or make arrangements to make weekly payments

The following payment terms may be arranged at time of enrollment:
$ 40.00 at enrollment time
$ 35.00 per class (6 payments).

NOTE: Fees are subject to change without notice

The Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) may ask you to do a three-month program (AB-
541) in order to keep your driving license regardless of the court disposition. Check with the
DMV before enrolling into this program to see what are the particulars in your case. You
