Program Schedule Breakdown
California Diversion Programs delivers instruction through two structured session formats: Alcohol Education Sessions and Group Sessions.
Across all DUI programs, participants begin with a foundational module consisting of twelve (12) hours of Alcohol Education. Each educational session is two (2) hours in duration and is typically completed over the initial six weeks of the program.
Upon successful completion of the required Alcohol Education sessions, participants transition into the Group Session phase of the program. Group sessions are facilitated in accordance with state program requirements and focus on continued engagement and structured discussion.
Each DUI program carries specific duration and participation requirements for group sessions. Program timelines and total session requirements vary depending on the applicable statute and program assignment.

Alcohol Education Sessions
